With usage-based storage, reducing billable storage can lower charges directly. With Google One, iCloud+, and Dropbox, savings depend on moving to a smaller tier or delaying an upgrade. Staying on the same flat-fee plan gives you more headroom at the same price.
The calculator retains each monthly batch through month 12, applies your chosen size reduction to media, and keeps other cloud files unchanged. It prices each monthly snapshot using the selected provider. The equations and source prices are shown with the results.
Source GB count each processing run before compression. Delivery GB count every copy sent to a destination. Each conversion uses at least one processing credit; longer conversions use more. All allowances reset monthly, including on yearly plans. Additional usage is agreed before processing.
Prepared files are available for delivery for 48 hours. Completed deliveries stay in the destinations you choose.
